The last Nobel Spirit televised session (Croatian Radiotelevision), as part of the 12th ISABS conference, was held on Friday, June 24, 2022.  with the participation of Nobel laureates:

  • Aaron Ciechanover (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2004; Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel),
  • Sir Richard John Roberts (Nobel Prize in medicine in Physiology and Medicine 1993; Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA & New England Biolabs, Ipswich, MA, USA),
  • Thomas Südhof (Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine 2013; University of Stanford, Palo Alto, CA, USA).

The session was open to the public with the audience including Government ministers, members of the Parliament, hospital and institute directors, university rectors, deans of schools, journalists as well as delegates from various countries. We deem particularly important the presence in the audience of high school and university students.  A session was held with each speaker presenting the discoveries for which they’ve been honored, followed by the moderated round table with the aim to inspire dialogue.
