Terms and conditions
Eligibility for membership
Any person residing in Croatia and abroad who is interested in research and education in the fields of applied biological sciences or other issues pertaining to activities of the Society (ISABS) and is willing to respect the goals and bylaws of the Society is eligible for membership in the International Society of Applied Biological Sciences.

Entry Level Categories: Associate Member, Student Member, Collective Member.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER is the entry level at which all applicants enter the ISABS (with the exception of Student Member and Collective Member). Advancement to Regular Member, Retired Member and Honorary Member is accomplished by meeting additional criteria established by each section.
STUDENT MEMBER level is a temporary status that exists all postdoctoral fellows, residents, postgraduate and undergraduate students participating in any degree-granting programs or professional trainings and educations in the field of applied biological sciences. Student Member status may be maintained as long as the Student Member has documentation of student, resident or postdoctoral fellow status. Advancement to Regular Member, Retired Member and Honorary Member is accomplished by meeting additional criteria established by each section.
COLLECTIVE MEMBER is the entry level for any organization or legal entity involved in research, education or other activities in the field of applied biological sciences.

Any citizen of the Republic of Croatia or any foreign individuals who upon their acceptance of the bylaws and other general documents of the Society and annual payment of dues shall be entitled to all membership rights and benefits except to hold elected positions and to vote. |

Any person who has been associate member of the Society for at least 2 years and has two recommendations from the regular members of the Society. Regular membership can be also obtained upon election by the President of the Society. Regular members may be elected to office, serve on committees, and vote on Society matters. |

Student Member |

All postdoctoral fellows, residents, postgraduate and undergraduate students participating in any degree-granting programs or professional trainings and educations in the field of applied biological sciences at institutions in the Croatia and abroad All student members upon their acceptance of the bylaws and other general documents of the Society and annual payment of dues shall be entitled to all membership rights and benefits except to hold elected positions and to vote. No individual shall become and remain a Student member for longer than 5 years without documentation of student, resident, or postdoctoral fellow status. |

Honorary Member no chargeall prominent members that have given significant contribution with their work to promotion and success of the Society. The status of the honorary member of the Society shall be appointed by the joint decision of regular members of the Society. Honorary members are entitled to all membership rights and benefits but shall not be required to pay the membership fee. |
Registration Confirmation
Upon receipt of your application, ISABS will send you e-mail verifying the membership type for which you are applying and confirming your new Applicant status. ISABS Membership Committee will review your application and within 5 days you will be notified of the outcome. You become a ISABS member by the official Committee approval and after paying the membership fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
ISABS memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable!

Please note, the Applicant's full name and the reference number of invoice should be included with the payment.
Please make sure that the Applicant's name (matching with the name on the registration form) is given on the bank transfer, as transfers bearing no name cannot be allocated.
Please make credit card fees and bank transfers free of charge for the beneficiary. Any charges for credit card fees and banking fees or incorrect remittance of registration fees will be collected on site by the Conference Office.
