Poster Contents and Design:
The poster presentation should cover all key aspects of the work and contain the following items:
• Abstract
• Introduction
• Materials
• Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusions
• References
• Presenter and/or corresponding author's email address
Keep data on the slide simple and ensure a logical order of the content. A clear and well-structured arrangement is the most attractive and the easiest to read.
• Text: Your guiding principle should be “As much as necessary, as little as possible”. The text should be concise and to the point; key facts may be highlighted. Extensive narratives are not necessary. Short “bulleted” statements are preferred.
• Colors: Choose color combinations that make your text easy to read (preferably dark background – light fonts; avoid red and green).
• Images: Results presented in the form of figures, diagrams, graphs, etc., are preferred, but may be presented in a clear, concise tabular format. Do not select too many images and concentrate on those that support your key points and conclusions optimally.
• Statistical data should be titled and summarized in a clear, concise format.
• Material should be displayed in a logical sequence from top left to bottom right.
• All poster panels should be arranged so that the sequence of presentation is clear (panels can be numbered or arrows can be used).
Saving and uploading an E-Poster:
• The e-poster must contain ONLY ONE slide on which the entire content of the poster is shown
• e-posters may not contain audio / video or moving images
• e-poster created in PowerPoint should be saved in PNG format (Save As .png)
• submit your e-poster via the personal link you receive
